quality and reliability tor which Garrard are world-wide renowned.

Each model has been specially designed to meet specific and
exacting requirements giving a complete range from the highest
quality transcription turntable to the popular priced automatic and
single record playing units,

Leading designers keep Garrard to the toretront in contemporary
styling.

Special durable finishes are used. making every Garrard unit
suitable tor tropical conditions.

All Garrard units are wired for stereo reproduction (also suitable or
mono) and all automatic turntables have lacilities for manual (srngle
record) operation.

Each unit is supplied With template (giving all dimensions).
transit or fixing screws. installation and operating instructions. Spring
mountings are fitted to all units except the Model 401 and CC 10.

Units not Supplied with pickup cartridge should be fitted with the
cartridge oi your choice. For advice. consult your dealer.

All Garrard models are desugned to play records contorming to
I.E.C. Publication 98. BS1928:1965 and equivalent national standards.

experience in the design and manufacture of
record playing equipment.

This wide experience is reflected in the high
quality and reliability of all Garrard units. and we
present with confidence this brochure covering
the current Garrard range.

A feature comparison chart is provided to enable
a ready assessment to be made of the various
models. Illustrations of the complete range.
together with a brief description and dimensions
of each unit. are included. Garrard models are
available from your dealer as separate units or
fitted in most makes of radiograms. record
players and audio component systems.

TRANSCRIPTION TURNTABLE
Model 401

A Transcription Turntable designed to meet the most exacting
requirements for radio. television and recording studios and Hi-Fi
enthusiasts.

Features include gear-cut stroboscopic markings ar0und periphery
of the balanced turntable. illuminated by a high intensity neon lamp.
speed adiustment of up to t 3}; by means of an eddy current brake.
double pole switch fitted with click suppressors and cast iron motor
casing to provide magnetic screening. The motor assembly is isolated
from the diecast aluminium unit plate by six tension Springs.

Each unit is Supplied with its own individual test report.

Finish: Metallescent Charcoal with chrome relief.

Size: 133" (349 mm) wide by 143" (371 mm) front to rear by 23"
(54 mm) above and 3% (100 mm) below lower edge of unit plate.
Space must be allowed to accommodate chosen pickup arm.

SINGLE RECORD PLAYING UNITS
Model AP 75

An elegant, three-speed. single record playing unit offering advanced
features for the Hi-Fi enthusiast.

The non-magnetic turntable is recessed into the unit plate and this
together with the low aluminium pickup arm gives the unit an attractive
"low-line" look.

Features incorporated include cue and pause. calibrated pickup arm
bias compensation. stylus force adjustment and a slide-in cartridge
carrier.

This unit offers the additional facility of automatlc play of single records.

Model SP 25 Mk II

Designed to meet the demand for a single record playing unit at
moderate cost the SP 25 Mk II is extremely popular with Hl-Fi
enthuslasts. This unit incorporates a number of special features
including a weight counterbalanced pickup arm, cue and pause .
control. calibrated fine stylus force adjustment and pickup arm bias
compensation.

On completion of playing a record, the pickup arm automatically
rises. returns to its rest and the motor switches off.
