ERA stands for Etudes et Recherches Acoustiques [Acoustic
Studies and Research). We spend more and more every day on
research. Day after day. our engineers examine land destroy]
all available products and look for new designs. This is how we
made "firsts" like the integrated BlooSritirce, the friction-
iree" horizontal pivot for the arm lworld patent}. Those who
prefer an ERA turntable do so because thev share with us this
enthusiasm for Research.

The ERA 555 incorporates a floating suspension which independently
suspends the platter and tone arm on their own chassis. This design
together with the construction of the K-3 tone arm virtually eliminates
acoustic feedback and rumble.

The 666" is the most advanced in the ERA line of manual transcription
turntables. Free floating independent suspension of the arm and platter
combined with ERA's K-5 tone arm offers sound reproduction capabilities
which defy description. The axis of ERA's unique K-5 tone arm is at
record level thus eliminating warp wow. The era "666" is fitted in an oiled
