AufstellungsortDas Gerät darf nur auf einer festen horizontalen,
vibrationsfreien Fläche aufgestellt werden. Der Aufstellungsort
darf nicht zu großer Hitze, direkter Sonneneinstrahlung,
Feuchtigkeit, Staub, Rauch oder Dampf ausgesetzt sein.
Dadurch könnte das Gerät beschädigt werden.
Stehen Fernsehgeräte oder Radioempfänger in der Nähe,
sollten diese bei Betrieb des Plattenspielers ausgeschaltet
werden, um Störungem beim Betrieb zu vermeiden.
Wird das Gerät von einem kalten an einen warmen Ort ge-
bracht, kann Kondensfeuchtigkeit entstehen. Das Gerät sollte
auf jeden Fall für einige Stunden ausgeschaltet bleiben, bevor
es in Betrieb genommen wird. Andernfalls können
gefährliche Kurzschlüsse entstehen.
Zur Reinigung des Gerätes und der Schallplatten dürfen nur
dafür vorgesehene Reinigungsmittel (antistatisch) verwendet
werden. Diese sind im Zubehörfachhandel erhältlich.
VorbereitungEntnehmen Sie das Gerät und alle Zubehörteile der Verpak-
kung. Bitte bewahren Sie alle Verpackungsteile für einen even-
tuellen späteren Transport auf.

Place of installationThe device may only be installed on a horizontal, vibration-free
surface. The place of installation may not be subjected to high
temperatures, direct sunlight, moisture, dust, smoke or steam.
The device could thereby be damaged.
If TV sets or radio receivers are nearby, they should be swit-
ched off while the record player is in operation to avoid inter-
ference during operation.
If the unit is moved from a cold place to a warm place, conden-
sation may collect within the unit. The device must remain
switched off for a few hours before operation. Otherwise the
condensation can cause dangerous short circuits.
Use only cleaning agents (antistatic) intended for cleaning the
device and the turntable.These are available from your acces-
sories dealer.
Preliminary operationsUnpack the unit and all accessories. Please keep the packa-
ging for future use when transporting the device.
