Idling Current (1 U-2743-1)
Required measurement equipment: DC Voltmeter
Arrangement
(1) Avoid direct blow from an air conditioner or an electric fan, and adjust the unit at normal room temperature 15°C ~ 30°C.
(59°F ~ 86°F).

(2) Presetting

9 POWER (Power source switch) -> OFF

0 MODE (Mode buttton) a STEREO

in FUNCTION (Function button) -> CD

in VOLUME (Volume control) -> 0: fully counterclockwise( Q min.)

in BALANCE (Volume control) -> 0: (Controls to center)

I. BASS, TFlEBLE (Tone control) -> 0: (Controls to center)

0 SPEAKER-A (Speaker terminal) -> No load (Do not connect speaker, dummy resistor, etc.)

Adjustment
(1) Remove top cover and set VFt401, VR402 and VR501 of 1U-2743-1 (Main Unit) at counterclockwise fully.
(2) Connect DC Voltmeter to test points (Lch CN3L, Rch CNSM, CENTER ch CNSN).
(3) Connect power cord to AC Line, and turn power switch "ON".
(4) Allow 15 minutes, and turn VR401, VR402 and VR501 clockwise ( Q ) and adjust the TEST POINTS voltage to
1.5 mV : 0.5 mV DC.
(5) After 2 minutes from preset, turn VR401, VR402 and VR501 to set the voltage to 3 mV 1 0,5mV DC.

e lnitiatlng (Memory clearing) Method
To clear memory contents of microcomputer and restore to the initial state, take the following steps;

1. Press power switch, turn off the unit, and set to standby mode.

2. Pull out power cord from wall outlet temporality.

3, Insen power cord into outlet while simultaneously pressing two keys of AUDIO and VIDEO.
4. Press power switch to confirm that memory contents are cleared.

By completion of the above, the initial state is restored. In case the memory can not be cleared due to some reasons, repeat
steps 1 though 3.
