INSPECTION and INSTALLATION

Your unit was carefully packed at the factory in a protective carton.
Nonetheless, please examine both carton and contents for signs of any
damage that may have occurred during shipping. If there is evidence of
damage, dont destroy the carton or any of the packing material, and
notify your dbx dealer right away.

In any case, its a good idea to save the carton and packing materials
should you ever need to ship your unit in the future.

In addition to an NX4O and this instruction manual, the carton should
contain (1) a warranty/registration card and (2) a set (two pairs) of
hookup cables that connect the unit to your receiver. (See the Connec-
tions section.)

No ventilation or special cooling is required in any hookup situation;
other components in your stereo system may be stacked above or below
the NX40 provided that they don't get hot.
