FRONT PANEL

1. INPUTJACK:Thisi/4phonejack
accepts input from a bass guitar or
other input source.

2. GAIN CONTROL: This control
sets the amount of gain for the
preamp. A low output instrument
requires high gain while less gain
is needed with a high output In-
strument. Setting this control too
high along with boosted equaliza-
tion may cause distortion. if this is
not desired, simply reduce the
amount of gain.

3. Bright Switch: This switch affects
the brilliance or harmonics of the
bass sound by adding additional
bite" or sharpness.

4. MASTER VOLUME: Use this con-
trol to set the overall level of
sound.

5. HIGH CONTROL (Treble): This
knob affects the upper harmonic

range of the guitar, and clockwise
(higher) settings increase the
crispness or "bite" of the sound.

6. MID CONTROL: The amount of
midrange tone is set using this
control. Low settings can "thin
out the sound, while higher set-
tings can give a "fatter" sound.
Lower settings will give a "heavy
textured" sound, especially if lows
and highs are boosted.

7. LOW CONTROL [Bass]: The
amount of "bottom" or warmth"
may be increased or decreased
with this knob.

POWER

8. POWER LED INDICATOR: The
amplifier is on when this LED is lit.

9. POWER SWITCH: Pressing the
left side of the switch turns the
unit on, and the right side turns
the amp off.

REAR PANEL

10. POWER CORD: Your B-lO
amplifier is equipped with a heavy
duty, three-wire, grounded AC
cord. Be sure this cord is properly
plugged into a safely wired outlet
before use. For your safety, do not
defeat the ground connection on
this cord.

11. LINE OUT JACK: This is an unbal-
anced high impedance line output.
which may be used to link the 8-10
to additional amplifiers or to con-
nect the amp to a tape recorder.
Simply run a cable from thisjack to
the input of the other unit.

12. HEADPHONE JACK: Unpow-
ered headphones may be plugged
into this jack. Plugging head-
phones into this jack disconnects
the internal speaker so the output
of the amplifier will be heard only
through the headphones.
