The digital data stream is decoded
by Ultra Analog 20-bit dual DACs
per channel. This allows the DAC <1
to operate in true balanced confi-
guration. and the output signalfiom

gentle filter to remove any unwanted
artifacts outside the audible

slope prevents any phase
shift. Like our ampli-

stages use different
transistor types
such as J-FETS
and MOS/51:73. to

Music retains its original
harmonic structure. while
possessing an e.\'traordinar_\'

The DAC-l comes standard with
HDCD decoding capability.
Standard inputs include coaxial.
AES/EBU. AT&T. and Toslink. while
both regular and balanced outputs
are also provided. In addition,
absolute phase is selectable. and a
digital display shows all user
