It provides ultimate convenience and versatility for the dedicated record lover. To obtain the utmost in sonic clarity, the 993 discrete gain module is used exclusively throughout the 2008. The 993 has high slew rate, wide bandwidth, low distortion, high output current, and low output impedance unmatched by any other gain stage. The personality card allows convenient change of cartridge load, or different turntable/cartridge combinations. You can now make that last listening decision without disabling your system. The 2008 comes with a separate 2000 power supply which has three independent transformers and regulators for each channel and the logic circuit.
