Just four years ago, B-l-C., a leading
force in high fidelity since before WWII,
introduced the first belt-driven record
changers. These represented a signifi~
cant breakthrough because they re-
placed the idler-drive changer mech-
anism whose performance, never the
equal of belt-drive, tended to deteriorate
further in use. The new BoI-C units were
designed to entirely new concepts,
based upon simplicity, reliability and
unheard of performance specifications
for their time. They were built in a new
plant specifically erected for the purpose
in St. Joseph Michigan. In less than one
season from start of production. . . with
their obvious superiorities, and backed
by a two year warranty. . . they became
the best selling turntables in America.
