HOW MIDIMATCH WORKS

Che MIDIMatch system consists of two identical, bi-directional MIDIMatch
units, one for each end of the line. MIDI signals are converted to a
balanced signal that can be tranSmitted over long distances while
remaining immune to noise and interference. Each unit contains a
separate receiver and transmitter, making simultaneous receiving and
transmitting of different MIDI data possible. Two LEDs on each unit
monitor incoming MIDI data from either the XLR inputs or the MIDI
inputs in addition to indicating 9v power.

3ASIC HOOKUP

i) Connect a 9v power supply to each MIDIMatch.

2) Connect a cable from the output of your MIDI device to the
MIDI input on the transmitting MIDIMatch.

3) Connect an standard XLRequipped 2 conductor + shield
audio cable from the transmitting MIDIMatch to the receiving
MIDIMatch.

4) Send MlDl data. The receiving MlDlMatch's LED will blink off
then back on confirming the presence of data.
