To optimize the performance of this unit, please
read through this manual carefully.

In addition to this operating instructions manual,
be sure to refer to the separate installation and
connections manuals as well.

PRECAUTIONS

. This unit is designed to be operated on a12-volt
DC negative-ground electrical system only.

-To prevent short-circuiting, disconnect the
negative car battery terminal until the unit has
been mounted and connected completely.

-When replacing the fuse, be sure to use one
whose amperage rating is identical. Use of a
fuse of higher amperage may cause serious
damage to the unit.

- Do NOT attempt to disassemble this unit. Laser
rays from the optical pickup are dangerous to
the eyes.

. Make sure that pins or other foreign objects do
not get inside the unit; they may cause
malfunctioning, or a safety hazard such as
electrical shock or exposure of laser rays.

OWhen your car was parked in direct sunlight
resulting in a considerable rise in temperature
inside the car, allow the unit to cool off before
operating it.

-Keep the volume at such a level that you can
hear outside warning sounds (horns, sirens,
etc).

~Si coloca un disco deiectuoso o suclo en el
aparalo, el sonido puede desaparecer en el
rnedio de la reproducciOn.

oSujele el disco siempre por su borde y por el
agujero central.

' N0 toque la superficie del lado sin etiqueia del
disco.
0 N0 pegue papal o cinia, etc. en la superficie.

- N0 exponga el disco a los rayos del sol o a una
fuenle de calor fuerte.

- Limpie el disco antes de reproducirlo. Limpie el
disco empezando por el centre y hacia afuera.
con un pafio de limpieza.

- N0 utilice disolventes tales como bencina 0
alcohol para Iimpiar el disco.

- NO es posible rsproducir los discos oompactos
pequefios de 3 pulgadas (8 cm) en este aparalo.
Y no utilise adaptadorss porque puede provocar
una averia en el aparato.

. No ulilice discos compactos de formas
irregulares (por eiernplo con forms ds corazén
u octogonales). Pueden provocar una averl'a.

(volumen), BAS (graves), THE (agudos),
BAL (balance) y FAD (equilibrlo).

de volumen cuando se presiona si no va aI

3 Presione +l- para alustar el nivel.
Manienga presionado uno de los boiones
para cambiar répidamente el nivel,

indicaciones de control de audio en la panialla

Presione este botén para bajartemporaimenteel
volumen. Presione nuevamente para voiver al
voiumen original.

Las indicaciones de control de audio en la panmlla
destellan cuando se ha amivado Ia funcién de
silenciamiento.

Se puede disirutar de una miisica con un sonido
de graves fuertas.

Presione H-BASS para obtener graves mas
potentes.

Se enciende el indicador PEASS".

Para cancelar Ia iuncién de H-BASS, presione
nuevamente H-BASS.
