The AB International Professional Series 81208
is a mono Bi-Amplifier or a two channel stereo
amplifier. This compact (two rack unit) instru-
ment gives you the flexibility in using the ampli-
fier in a two channel full range stereo operation or
as a mono bi-ampliier featuring a selectable
internal crossover. Each channel has individual
level controls , signal/clip indicators and a system
level control is added for the Bi-Amplifier mode.
The 8120B features dual 1/4" jack inputs (unbal-
anced), dual XLR inputs (balanced), ground lift
switch, and a Stereo/Bridge switch. In the full
range stereo operation or in Bi-Amplifier mode
the 81208 delivers 500 Watts per channel into 8
Ohm, 800 Watts per channel into 4 Ohm, and
1050 Watts per channel into 2 Ohm. In Bi-
Amplifier operation, the high frequency channel
has a built in power limiter which is selectable
between full power and half power limit or -3dB.

Other features includes three dual speed temperature
actuated DC fans, " Soft Clip" speaker protection
circuitry, selectable input sensitivity, and a fully
modular construction for service accessibility.

The 8120B selectable crossover features a 24dB per
octave Linkwitz Riley filter, with standard frequen-
cies of 80Hz ,1200Hz and 1600Hz. Other frequen-
cies and custom filters are available upon request.

The AB International Model 8120B features the
"Logic Operated Gated Output" supply system.
High current , fully complimentary output stages are
powered by dual tri-level supplies that gate the
operating voltages around the output wave form.
This is used to control and eliminate unused and
inefficient headroom.

The 8120B operates from 100-240V 50-60Hz AC
mains and measures 3 1/2 " high (two rack unit),
19 wide and 15 " deep.
