The AB International Professional Series 1580B is
a two channel stereo amplifier. This compact (two
rack unit) instrument delivers 330 watts per
channel into 8 Ohm, 550 watts per channel into 4
Ohm and 650 watts per channel into 2 Ohm from
20Hz-20kHz at 0.1% (0.01% Typical) distortion.

The 1580B features individual channel level
controls, an 11 LED display with clip indication
per channel, V4 jack and XLR inputs (Balanced /
Un-Balanced), ground lift switch, input signal
selector switch for either stereo operation, Parallel
operation or bridging operation.

The 1580B employs only ZOdB of negative
feedback to reduce forward transfer distortion
components to minimum levels. VI energy
limiters are incorporated for short-circuit
protection and thermal sensor prevents an over
temperature condition.

Other features include three dual speed temperature
actuated DC fans, Sofi Clip protection circuitry
that will prevent the amplifier from hard clipping.
Three selectable input sensitivity settings allow for
extra versatility and low ESR filter capacitors for
extra filtering reliability.

The AB lntemational Model 1580B has a three-year
limited warranty with a fully modular construction
for service accessibilities. This light amplifier only
weights 29 lbs but still has professional durability
with the chassis being of 14 gauge cold-rolled steel
and the front panel made of 3/16 thick heavy
aluminum.

The 1580B operates from 100-24OV 50-60Hz AC
mains and measures 3 l/ high (two rack unit), 19
wide and 15deep.
