3. PRE-INSTALLATION CHECKOUT
3-1.Introduction
Each radio is adjusted andtested before shipment.
However, it
is recommended thatreceiver andtrans
mitter operation
be checked forproper operation be
fore installation.
3-2.Testing
Theradio should be tested complete with all cabling
and accessories as theywillbeconnected in the final
installation.
Transmitter frequency, deviation, and
power output should
be checked, as should receiver
sensitivity, squelch operation, andaudio output.
OT equipment operationshould be verified.
