Compact Dynamic
Speaker System

The J-Z 800 is the first speaker system using a cone-
type dynamic tweeter whose high-frequency perfor-
mance approaches our J ansZen Electrostatic models in
terms of minimum distortion and excellent transient
response over the entire musical range. Careful
matching of this exceptionally fine dynamic tweeter
to our already famous model 350A dynamic woofer
has resulted in a compact, shelf-model speaker system
that is many cuts above "economy" speakers in per-
formance . . . yet is priced with the lowest of them.

Used singly or in pairs for stereo, the J-Z 800 will
cogiplement the finest high fidelity/stereo equipment
presently available. Itcan be used with amplifiers up
to 50 watts with a minimum of 16 watts per channel
recommended. Its beautifully styled cabinet is fin-
ished on five sides so it may be placed vertically or
horizontally on shelves or used as a free standing
console as desired. High frequencies are evenly dis-
persed over a wide angle regardless of mounting posi-
tion thus avoiding the "pin point" sound source often
associated with compact speaker systems.

The J-Z 800 represents a happy combination of mod-
ern materials and the extension of our audio crafts-
mens art into new areas to produce Sound Without
Fury. . . at a still lower price.
