Preparation
Please read entire manual before installation.
Before You Start
- Disconnect negative battery terminal Consult a qualified technician for instructions.
- Avoid installing the unit where it would be subject to high temperatures, such as from
direct sunlight, or where it would be subject to dust, dirt or excessive vibration.
Getting Started
- Remove trim ring from unit.
0 Insert the supplied keys into the
slots as shown, and slide the unit
out of the mounting sleeve.
- Install mounting sleeve into
opening, bending tabs to secure.
- Connect wiring harness and
antenna. Consult a qualified
technician if you are unsure.
- Certain vehicles may require an REMOVAL KEvs
installation kit and/or wiring
harness adapter [sold separately].

Setup Menu
Press MENU to access the setup menu, then turn the tuning knob to cycle through
menu categories: Audio, Display, Tuner, iPod, Bluetooth and General.
- When desired category appears in the display, press SELECT, then rotate the tuning
knob left/right to cycle through the options in each category.
- When desired option appears in the display, press SELECT, then rotate the tuning
knob left/right to adjust or activate desired function.
- Press BACK to return to the previous menu or exit the menu while the main menu is
displayed.
Audio Menu
Press MENU, then press SELECT when Audio is highlighted to enter the Audio Menu.
Rotate the tuning knob to cycle through the following options.
Function 0 Action
Level Adjust the frequency bass ouput from E to +5.
. Adjust the bass quality factor: 0.7, 1.0, 1.4, 2.0.
Bass Quality Factor - Narrows/expands the bandwidth around the bass center frequency.
Center Adjust the bass center frequency: 50Hz, 100Hz, 200Hz.
Frequency - Focuses the bass level adjustments around a specific frequency.
Level Adjust the mid frequency ouput from E to +6.
. Adjust the mid quality factor: 0.7. 1.0, 1.4, 2.0.
Middle Quality Factor - Narrows/expands the bandwidth around the mid center frequency.
Center Adjust the mid center frequency: 0.5kHz, 1.0kHz, 2.0kHz.
Frequency - Focuses the mid level adjustments around a specific frequency.
Level Adjust the treble frequency output from B to +6.
. Adjust the mid quality factor: 0.7. 1.0, 1.4, 2.0.
Treble Quality Factor - Narrows/expands the bandwidth around the treble center frequency.
Center Adjust the treble center frequency 5kHz, 10kHz, 15kHz.
Frequency - Focuses the treble level adjustments around a specific frequency.
Balance Left - Right Shift the speaker output from the left [ 12] to the right [+12].
Fader Front - Rear Shift the speaker output from the front [ 12] to the rear [+12].
E uallzer Preset E05 Select between Flat, Pop, Jazz, Classic, Beat, Rock, User.
:1 - Any Bass, Mid or Treble adjustments are saved as the "User E0.
Level Adjust the level of the subwoofer output from 0 [off] to +12.
5 b of r Fre e c Set the cut off frequency for the low pass filter: Full, 55HZ, 85Hz, 120Hz.
u we e qu n y - Filters out mid/treble frequencies from the subwoofer output.
Phase Reverses the polarity to accomodate forward/rear firing mounting options.

- Selecting Off allow the full range of frequencies to the speakers.
Source Level -B to +8 Adjusts the output level for each mode individually from 8 to +8.
Set the loud setting: Off, Loud 1, Loud 2, Loud B.
Loudness Off/1/2/3 - Enhances the bass and treble frequencies at low volumes.
